CASA & WateReuse California’s Co-Sponsored Bill Headed to the Governor
We are pleased to report that AB 2777 (Committee on Environmental Safety and Toxic Materials) is officially headed to Governor Newsom. The bill is co-sponsored by CASA and WateReuse California, and if enacted, would make several tweaks to the Water Board’s authority for administration of the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) loan program.  The tweaks to the statute are intended to modernize the program by providing the Board more flexibility in the loan products they are allowed to offer.  Governor Newsom has until September 30 to sign or veto this and all other bills sent to him in the 2026 Legislative Session.
