More than 40 CASA and WateReuse CA members joined our joint Public Policy Forum last week. Participants heard from Assembly member Anna Caballero about water conservation legislation and its relationship to recycled water. They also heard from Assembly committee consultants about their insights and advice for effective advocacy.

Following the morning presentations, participants joined CASA and WateReuse CA staff at the State Capitol. We visited with 29 legislative offices to oppose legislation to limit local fee authority and support bills to reduce micro fiber pollution in waterways.

Thank you to those who joined us! We will continue to advocate throughout the year. See our bill list for our complete line up of 2018 legislative priorities.
