The CASA/WaterReuse California Sacramento Public Policy Forum is just a week away. Highlights include:

  • Insider’s Guide to Policymaking: Assembly Local Government Committee Chief Consultant Debbie Michel and Senate Appropriation Committee Chief Consultant Mark MacKenzie will share their tips for effective advocacy.
  • Assembly Member Eduardo Garcia: The Chair of the of the Assembly Water Parks and Wildlife Committee will speak about committee priorities. The committee oversees water resources, flood management, fish and game, parks and recreation and wildlife.
  • Water Conservation Legislation Panel Discussion: Panelists from the Governor’s office, Senate and Irvine Ranch Water District will discuss the proposed water conservation legislation and its impacts on recycled water.
