CASA’s regulatory workgroup meets regularly to discuss issues of importance to the wastewater community. We focus on recent developments that have the potential to impact water quality permitting and compliance. The workgroup is open to all CASA member entities and consists of general managers, regulatory compliance staff, and consultants engaged in regulatory analysis and advocacy.
Examples of issues we discuss include new regulations and rulemakings, policy development, and opportunities for public comment at both the state and federal level. The regulatory workgroup is also a forum where fellow regional and national associations representing the wastewater community can share information and coordinate comments and actions.
